Broadway actresses Jackie Burns and Dee Roscioli have announced they will be hosting a virtual audition masterclass on Saturday, April 25, from 2:00- 5:00 p.m. EST. The masterclass costs $120 and is open to all ages. A portion of the fee will be donated to The Actors Fund. Both Burns and Roscioli are not only "two good friends," but they are also two recording-breaking Elphaba's in their own right. Burns holds the record for longest-running Elphaba on Broadway, and Roscioli holds the record for most performances as Elphaba throughout North America. Jackie Burns holds the title of Broadway’s longest running Elphaba in WICKED, she can also be seen in the commercials and print ads for the show. She starred in the national tour of If/Then where she received rave reviews for her performance and was also a part of the original Broadway company. Other credits include the Tony Award ® -winning revival of Hair (original Broadway company member) and Rock of Ages (original Off-Broadway company member). Dee Roscioli as Elphaba in WICKED (Joan Marcus)
Dee Roscioli is best known for her portrayal of Elphaba in the Broadway smash-hit WICKED where she set the record for most performances of the green girl. Most recently, Dee was seen on Broadway in The Cher Show as the standby with numerous performances as both Star and Lady. Dee was also seen in the 2015 Broadway revival of Fiddler On The Roof, in the National Tour of CATS as Grizabella, and John Kander’s newest musical Kid Victory.In addition to her theatre credits, she has headlined various symphonies across the globe.
